Eateri, Inc., United States, operates categoried.com and www.categoried.com. This policy covers this product-preview website and messages you send us about it. Contact support@eateri.co with privacy questions.

The unreleased iPhone app has separate data practices. This notice is not the app’s full privacy policy; that policy will need to be completed before public launch.

What happens when you visit

The website has no account login, contact form, payment form, or mailing-list signup. Example conversations are fictional and run in your browser. Clicking a category does not send a message or submit the category choice to us.

Our site code includes no advertising, analytics, or cross-site tracking scripts. Images and app screenshots are served with the website, without third-party embeds.

Your appearance preference

Choosing Light or Dark stores one preference, categoried-appearance, in your browser’s local storage. It stays there until you select System or clear site data. System follows your device setting and removes the saved preference. This setting is not sent to us by the website code.

Hosting & technical information

Cloudflare delivers and protects this website. Requests expose technical information, such as your IP address, requested URL, and browser headers, to the hosting service. Its processing and retention depend on the service and its policies. Read Cloudflare’s privacy policy for details.

When you email us

We receive the email address, message, and attachments you choose to send. We use them to respond, investigate issues, and handle privacy or safety requests. Email providers also process messages in delivering and storing them. Please share only what is necessary.

We do not use support requests to enroll you in a marketing list. We keep correspondence as needed to resolve the request and maintain relevant support, security, or legal records; there is no single fixed retention period for all requests. You can ask us to delete correspondence, subject to applicable recordkeeping obligations.

Purposes, sharing & international processing

We process information to operate and protect the website, respond to requests, and meet legal obligations. Where applicable privacy law requires a legal basis, these activities rely on our legitimate interests in operating the website and providing support, or compliance with a legal obligation.

Hosting and email service providers process information to provide those services. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or to address fraud, abuse, or security incidents. We do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising.

Eateri, Inc. is based in the United States, and our service providers operate internationally. Information may be processed outside your country. Contact us for questions about the processing relevant to your request.

Your choices & requests

Depending on where you live and the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your information, or request a portable copy. You can contact support@eateri.co to ask about these rights or raise a concern. We may need information to verify that a request relates to you; do not send identity documents unless specifically requested through an appropriate process.

You may also complain to your local data-protection authority. These rights are subject to applicable law; the website cannot delete an app account. See account data and deletion for current app limitations.

Children & updates

This website does not offer accounts or invite children to submit personal information. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can review it.

We will revise this notice when the website’s practices change and update the effective date above. Adding app accounts, purchases, or other services will require additional information appropriate to those services.
