Practical guidance for public conversations while Categoried is in development.
Keep personal information private
Public spaces can be read by others. Do not post passwords, private contact details, private conversations, or photos of others without their permission.
Respect other people
Do not use public chats for harassment, threats, hate, exploitation, impersonation, scams, or spam. Share content you have the right to share. Disagree with ideas without targeting people.
Report and block
Use Report from a public message’s menu to flag content. Use Block to hide an author’s public content in your app. Existing private shares are managed separately through People & invitations.
Current limits
Reports are collected, but automated/server-enforced bans and a verified moderation response process are not yet in place. These guidelines do not promise a response time. For support or to follow up about abuse, email support@eateri.co.
